► ValleyRide - Professional Transit Management in Boise is seeking a full-time mechanic to perform skilled mechanical work in the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of transit vehicles. Essential functions of the job include complete service functions related to the maintenance of transit and service vehicles, complete work orders on all vehicle repairs, ensure the accurate reflection of hours worked, hours performed and materials used, perform repair and replacement of non-major components, submit parts requests as needed and assist in road calls and vehicle trade-out. This position will remain open until filled.

1). Valley Regional Transit - VRT is the regional public transportation authority (RPTA) for Ada and Canyon counties. Use the link below to download a VRT application. Send the completed application to Valley Regional Transit, attn: Human Resources, 700 N. East 2nd Street, Suite 100, Meridian, ID 83642.
 
 
2). ValleyRide - Professional Transit Management of Boise is a subsidiary of Veolia Transportation that operates transit services in the city of Boise on behalf of Valley Regional Transit. This service is known as ValleyRide to our riding and non-riding public. Use the link below to download the PTM of Boise application. Send the completed application to PTM of Boise/ValleyRide, P.O. Box 51132, Boise, ID 83705. Qualified applicants may also fax the completed application to the HR Coordinator's attention at 208-947-1372, or deliver the application to the Boise Operations facility at 4788 S. Orchard Street. If you are applying for a position that requires a Commercial Driver's License, you must attach a recent (isssued within the previous 30 days) Department of Motor Vehicles record, regardless of whether you currently hold a CDL.
