FIVE YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN

In November 2002, the ValleyRide (now known as Valley Regional Transit) Board of Directors approved a five-year strategic plan. This plan is the result of months of hard work that included an extensive schedule of workshops, stakeholder interviews and focus groups. It is designed to outline a course that will lead to the realization of Valley Regional Transit's organizational goals.

The strategic plan is composed of four core elements - priorities, goals, strategies and objectives. the five priorities in the plan define the "must dos" based on internal and external drivers. Each priority includes several goals which define success and provide direction for the next three to five years.

Update: The VRT Board of Directors in the summer of 2008 approved a new two-year update to the strategic plan. That plan will be posted on this website soon.
