2006 TELEPHONE SURVEY/FOCUS GROUP MEETINGS
If you are tired of sitting in traffic, you are not alone. Traffic congestion and growth and the top concerns in Ada and Canyon counties according to a phone survey conducted by Valley Regional Transit this fall. Respondents identify having a livable community and free time as the key factors for enhancing the quality of life in the Treasure Valley.
“These findings all point toward public transportation,” said Kelli Fairless, Executive Director of Valley Regional Transit.
In fact, 91 percent of the respondents to the survey said that public transportation was important or very important to the community.
