REQUEST FOR BIDS
Solicitation No. RFB 2020-03-27

 Valley Regional Transit will accept bids for Solicitation No. 2020-03-27, for Electric Bus Infrastructures electrical equipment. This will include supply and delivery of electrical equipment, including, medium voltage switchgear and transformers, and a low voltage switchboard as described in the solicitation documents.

Delivery of all components specified will be to VRTs Boise Orchard facility located at 4701 Northrup Street, in Boise, Idaho.

 There will be no Pre-Bid meeting.

 Solicitation packets are available on the Valley Regional Transit web page at www.valleyregionaltransit.org.

Valley Regional Transit will accept mailed sealed BID responses at the Valley Regional Transit, Meridian Office. Attn: Procurement Dept., 700 NE 2nd St – Suite 100, Meridian, ID 83642 until 2:00 P.M. MT on Friday, April 17, 2020.

In determining the lowest responsive bid, the Owner will consider all acceptable bids on a basis consistent with the bid package. The Owner will also consider whether the bidder is a responsible bidder. See solicitation document for more details. All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign.

Valley Regional Transit (VRT) will accept proposals for Solicitation No. RFP 2019-11-04 to enter into a contract with a firm(s) for On-Call Graphics and Associated Services.  Questions about the RFP are due by 5 p.m. MDT on Monday, November 25, 2019. Valley Regional Transit DBE goal - Posted Thursday, July 25, 2019

Notice is hereby given that Valley Regional Transit (VRT) has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation Goal in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation Regulations at 49 CFR Part 26. VRT's goal for DBE participation for federal fiscal years 2020-2022 shall be 1.8519 percent of funds expended in U.S. Department of Transportation assisted contracts. The goal, description of the methodology used in and VRT's DBE Program Plan are available for inspection between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the VRT administrative offices at 700 NE 2nd St. in Meridian, Idaho. The goal and plan will be available for 30 days following the original date of this notice (through August 24, 2019). Comment on the goal and plan will be accepted until Sept. 8, 2019. Notice of Open Houses/Public Hearings - Posted Tuesday, July 16, 2019

Valley Regional Transit (VRT), the regional public transit authority for Ada and Canyon counties, has scheduled  two open houses/public hearings on proposed fare increases. The open houses/public hearings will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in Conference Room B of the Nampa Public Library, 215 12th Ave. S., and Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Collister Library, 4724 W. State Street in Boise. The open houses are scheduled for 5-6:30 p.m.; the public hearings will begin at 6:30 p.m. 

People are welcome to make comments at the public hearing, limiting their comments to no more than three (3) minutes. Comments may also be mailed, faxed or e-mailed by 5 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2019.
