Notice is hereby given that Valley Regional Transit (VRT), the regional public transportation authority for Ada County and Canyon County, is accepting public comments on Addendum 1 to its FY 2021 Program of Projects (POP). The public participation process is being used to satisfy
Valley Regional Transit’s urbanized area grant program of projects public outreach requirements. This POP was prepared pursuant to Federal Transit Administration (FTA) guidelines.
VRT invites interested parties the opportunity to submit comments, orally or in writing, regarding the FY 2021 POP Addendum 1 and the overall performance of VRT. The deadline for
providing comment is 11: 59 p.m. on Monday, March 29, 2021.
A copy of the FY 2021 POP Addendum 1 is available for review at the VRT offices at 700 NE 2nd Street in Meridian, Idaho, 83642 on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Valley Regional Transit (VRT) is seeking a firm to provide “Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Eligibility Evaluation Services” reviewing access eligibility of our current riders (individuals with disabilities) and new applicants (individuals with disabilities) to ensure only qualified passengers use the service.

The RFP packet can be found on VRT’s website at www.valleyregionaltransit.org or requested by email: procurement@valleyregionaltransit.org.

In determining the most advantageous proposal, the Owner will consider all acceptable proposals on a basis consistent with the procurement package.  The Owner will also consider whether the proposal is a responsible proposer.

Before a contract will be awarded for work contemplated herein, the Owner will conduct such investigation as is necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the Proposers to perform the size and type of work specified under this contract.  Upon request, the Proposer shall submit such information as deemed necessary by the Owner to evaluate the Proposer’s qualifications.

All submissions must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign.

Valley Regional Transit reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of Valley Regional Transit.
