A website page that provides more information about the ValleyConnect 2.0 plan, including a link to the complete plan and a survey, can be viewed here.
ValleyConnect 2.0 offers an expansion of services that would allow residents of Ada and Canyon counties to maintain the freedom to move even while the region continues to add more job, people and opportunities. This expansion of services includes more frequent routes, increases in service hours and expanding the reach of fixed-route transit by integrating all travel options, including bus, bike and car share, ride hailing, etc. into a single, easy to use approach.
We need to know what your thoughts are about the plan and your priorities in regards to public transportation. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey (a link to the survey can be found on the ValleyConnect 2.0 page). The deadline for entering comment is Thursday, March 15.
Results form the public survey, along with additional outside input, will be reviewed by Valley Regional Transit staff and presented to the VRT Board of Directors at its April 4th meeting. The Board is expected to approve the final version of the ValleyConnect 2.0 plan at the meeting.
