A website page that provides more information about the ValleyConnect 2.0 (VC 2.0) plan, including a link to the complete plan and a survey, can be viewed here.
ValleyConnect 2.0 offers an expansion of services that would allow residents of Ada and Canyon counties to maintain the freedom to move even while the region continues to add more job, people and opportunities. This expansion of services includes more frequent routes, increases in service hours and expanding the reach of fixed-route transit by integrating all travel options, including bus, bike and car share, ride hailing, etc. into a single, easy to use approach.
Thank you to everyone who took an online survey about the plan. A total of 1,275 people took the survey. In addition, we received a lot of input through social media and an outreach schedule that includes 47 presenattions throughout the region.
Results from the public survey, along with additional outside input, was reviewed by Valley Regional Transit staff. The VRT Board of Directors was provided an update on the plan at its Monday, April 2 meeting. The Board approved the final ValleyConnect 2.0 plan. Staff are currently in the process of updating the plan and it will posted on this website as soon as the update is complete.
