DESCRIPTION:Learn to Ride with VRT Staff!\n  \nEver thought\, “I really want to try riding the bus someday”—but it just hasn’t happened yet? Well\, your someday is here! \nJoin Valley Regional Transit for a hands-on Learn to Ride event on Friday\, January 30th from 11am-1 PM. \nWe’ll meet at College of Western Idaho’s Park & Ride lot (5560 E Opportunity Dr\, Nampa\, ID 83687) at 11am\, hop on Route 42 at 11:32 AM\, and take a guided ride downtown to Happy Day Transit Center. There\, we’ll enjoy a 20-minute behind-the-scenes tour of Boise’s Canyon County transit hub before catching Route 42 back to CWI\, arriving around 1 PM. \nAlong the way\, you’ll learn how to: \n\nPlan your trip using VRT’s tools\nRead route maps and schedules\nTrack your bus in real time\nPay your fare using the Umo Mobility app\n\nWhether you’re brand new to transit or just curious how it all works\, this event is a great (and fun!) way to explore Boise by bus. \n📍 Meeting Point: College of Western Idaho’s Park & Ride lot (5560 E Opportunity Dr\, Nampa\, ID 83687) \n🕔 Time: 11 AM – 1 PM \n🚌 Routes: 42 → Happy Day Transit Center → 42 \n💬 Questions? We’ll wrap up with a Q&A when we return!
