DESCRIPTION:The goal of the Community Collaborative is to develop and sustain a meeting space facilitated by West Ada School District to learn about and highlight organizations serving our community. In addition\, this Community Collaborative creates a networking environment where members can better understand the needs of families in our district and provide community assistance where it is needed most. The meeting will start promptly at 12:00 noon and will adjourn no later than 1:30 PM. *Café Renaissance is not open for service until late October 2024 and occasionally not open for lunch on occasional Thursdays. DESCRIPTION:VRT Executive Board\n\nThe VRT Executive Board is a standing committee of the Board of Directors. It reviews matters related to budget\, finance\, operations\, governmental\, and legislative actions. The Executive Board focuses on the internal and operational issues of the agency and works closely with the executive director in the management of Valley Regional Transit. Members are the board chair\, past chair\, chair-elect\, vice-chair\, treasurer\, five at-large members from Ada and Canyon counties\, as well as a representative from Boise State University. \nThe Executive Board is scheduled to meet on the first Monday of every month but September. DESCRIPTION:Regional Advisory Council\n\nThe Regional Advisory Council (RAC) is a standing committee of the Valley Regional Transit Board. It was developed to provide a forum for transportation and human service staff to share information and collaborate on mobility issues. Members of the Council provide advice to VRT on its transportation programs and disseminate mobility information to their stakeholders. \nThe RAC is scheduled to meet bi-monthly with calendars set at the beginning of each year. The meetings are typically held at 9 a.m. in the first-floor Board Room at the VRT administrative offices\, 700 NE 2nd Street in Meridian. RAC meetings may be hosted at different locations depending on agenda needs.
