DESCRIPTION:Based on low ridership and ready alternatives\, VRT proposed to the City of Meridian\, to suspend Route 30 Pine\, which serves Meridian. Currently\, Route 30 and Route 45 work together to provide extended commute service with periods of 30-minute service between Ten Mile and the Village. Existing riders will be able to use Route 45 to complete their current trips. \nVRT has scheduled a public hearing to gather testimony regarding these service cuts\, preceded by an open house for the public to review information.
