Route 9 State Street Detour (UPDATE: Effective 1/9/23)

Starting Monday, January 9, Route 9 buses will resume service on State Street. Due to future road work, additional detours may be necessary. Please check this page and Service Alerts for updates.

Effective: 12/23/22

Route 9 is on a temporary detour in downtown Boise due to roadway constraints on State Street.

From Main Street Station, Route 9 buses will turn:

• Left on 5th St.
• Left on Idaho St.
• Right on 15th St.
• Left on State St.

And resume regular service

Toward Main Street Station, Route 9 buses will turn

• Right on 16th St.
• Left on Main St.

To their normal layover location on Main Street

Temporary stops will be placed along the detour route. Check back for updates on this detour, as it may change due to road conditions.
