The Transportation Development Plan (TDP) is the five-year work plan for the regional public transportation system. The TDP outlines a service implementation plan and capital improvement program, as well as mobility and regional support investments, that will guide VRT’s growth in the coming years.
The resulting program of projects and revenue plan demonstrates a shared regional vision for public transportation in the Treasure Valley. Performance measures for programs and services will allow VRT, its partners, and the public to measure progress towards this vision and engage in data-driven decision-making during the annual update of the plan and future budget cycles. The TDP includes a five-year operating and capital budget for the agency that outlines specific local, federal, and directly generated funding goals.
