Our Senior Center Partners

Valley Regional Transit partners with several senior centers in the Treasure Valley to provide transportation services.

 

Eagle Senior Center

Offers transportation services for free Monday through Saturday to seniors and people with disabilities throughout Eagle and the surrounding area. More than 80 seniors, many of which take advantage of these transportation services, participate in weekly programs at this facility.

Kuna Senior Citizens and Neighborhood Center

Transportation is provided Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays within the Kuna service area. On Tuesdays, the senior bus makes a trip for doctor appointments, shopping, and lunch. Medical and shopping transportation goes outside the Kuna area. On Thursdays, the senior center takes field trips. Please note that reservations must be made by 2 p.m. the day before.

  • Hours of operation: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Cost: 60 years or older ride for free; persons with disabilities ride for free; under age 60 the cost is $3 per round trip within Kuna and $6 round trip into Meridian or Boise.

MERIDIAN Senior Center

This location offers transportation services Monday through Friday. The center is currently closed due to COVID-19 restrictions and they are offering Meals on Wheels curbside lunch pick-up from 11:30am – 12:30pm.
