RIDE THE BUS WITH US: Learn to Ride with VRT Staff!

Ever thought, “I really want to try riding the bus someday”—but it just hasn’t happened yet? Well, your someday is here!

Join Valley Regional Transit for a hands-on Learn to Ride event on Thursday, January 29th from 5–7 PM.

We’ll meet at Boise Towne Square Mall’s Park & Ride lot (just north of Dillard’s) at 5 PM, hop on Route 7 at 5:15 PM, and take a guided ride downtown to Main Street Station. There, we’ll enjoy a 30-minute behind-the-scenes tour of Boise’s underground transit hub before catching Route 29 back to the mall, arriving around 6:40 PM.

Along the way, you’ll learn how to:

• Plan your trip using VRT’s tools

• Read route maps and schedules

• Track your bus in real time

• Pay your fare using the Umo Mobility app

Whether you’re brand new to transit or just curious how it all works, this event is a great (and fun!) way to explore Boise by bus.
