VRT Lyft Pass

We understand your destination may be out of regular bus route reach. With the VRT Lyft Pass (formerly Lyft Transit Connections), you can get from where you are to a bus stop or from a bus stop to where you need to go!

How It Works

If you’re in the designated coverage area, your Lyft fare will be $2. We’ll pick up the rest of the tab, up to $6.

HOW TO USE
  1. Get the app: Download the Lyft app and set up an account (if you don’t have one already).
  2. Load the code: Select “Payment” from the menu and click on “Enter Lyft Pass.” Enter code: VRT
  3. Schedule your trip: Schedule your trip to or from one of the impacted bus stops eligible for the temporary Lyft Pass listed above.
  4. Take a ride: Enjoy discounted fares and connections to VRT routes!

Pro tip: select your VRT Lyft Pass within the app to view the coverage area and qualifying bus stops

Lyft Price Lock

Purchase a VRT Lyft Monthly Pass

Need a VRT Lyft Pass for your daily commute? No problem! Get a monthly pass that includes both a 31-day local VRT bus pass and 31 days of connecting service from Lyft for $90.

To get the VRT Lyft Monthly pass:
  1. Download the Lyft app and set up an account if you do not have one
  2. Go to the customer service office at Main Street Station (777 W. Main Street in downtown Boise) or the VRT administrative offices (700 NE 2nd St. in Meridian) to buy the VRT Lyft Monthly Pass (you will need to give customer service the telephone number associated with your Lyft account)
  3. Once you receive your pass, a Lyft promo code will be activated on your phone.

If your ride is in the designated service area, your Lyft fare will be covered by the pass. If your ride exceeds $8, you will be responsible for the remaining cost.
