Meridian Veterans Shuttle

The Meridian Veterans Shuttle is a transportation service designed to help veterans living in Meridian get to appointments at the Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) at no cost.

The shuttle is a curb-to-curb service that will pick veterans up at their homes, take them to the VAMC, and then take them home again. The shuttle is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Meridian Veterans Shuttle is not a taxi or limousine service. It is shared-ride transportation, taking multiple people to their VAMC appointments. The shuttle is coordinated with various transportation providers serving Meridian.

To schedule a ride, a veteran will need to call VRT Customer Service at 208-345-7433 at least two business days before the appointment and provide the day and time of the appointment. Rides can be scheduled up to two weeks before an appointment. There is no cost for rides. VRT Customer Service is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
