Join VRT for Stuff the Bus 2024 on December 7

The 26th annual Stuff the Bus toy drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024, outside seven Treasure Valley Fred Meyer stores.

Stuff the Bus—an annual collaboration between the Salvation Army, Fred Meyer, KTVB, and VRT—aims to fill VRT buses with new toys or gift cards for children of all ages. At the end of the event, the toys will be transported to Salvation Army distribution centers.

The VRT buses will be parked near the main entrances of the following Fred Meyer stores in the Treasure Valley:

• 50 2nd St S, Nampa, ID
• 1400 W Chinden Blvd, Meridian
• 1850 E Fairview Ave, Meridian
• 10751 W Overland Rd, Boise
• 5230 W Franklin Rd, Boise
• 3527 S Federal Way, Boise
• 5425 W Chinden Blvd, Garden City

Last year, a record number of 8,272 toys were donated, along with $1,400 in gift cards and cash. In the 25 years VRT has participated in Stuff the Bus, more than 170,000 toys have been donated.
