Outbound route 7 and 8 are on new detour. No stops will be missed.
Due to construction, Route 40 will be on detour starting Thursday August 8, 2026, until Monday October 26, 2026. Detour is, from Main, right on 27th, left on Pleasonton, right on White Water, U-Turn at round-a-bout, Right to Main to regular route.
Stop closed on Americana and Shoreline. Temp stop placed long.
Route 28 is on small detour at Frank Church High School; The stop on Pro Tech and Salt Creek SEC is closed, we have a temp stop placed across the road on Pro Tech and Salt Creek SWC.
Outbound State and Pierce Park stop closed, no temp placed due to construction.
The stop on Latah and Alpine towards MSS is closed for construction and temp stop placed on the far-side of the R&R tracks.
Inbound stop on State and 11th is closed, temporary stop placed at State and 12th near side.
Route 9 OB stop at State and Ellen's Ferry closed. No temp stop placed.
Inbound State and Pierce Park stop closed, no temp placed due to construction.
Route 16: Stops on 1st & Idaho and 1st & Bannock will be closed. Please use the bus stop on Main & 1st.
As we settle into the new bus network after Change Day, the VRT team has reviewed bus arrival times and identified schedule updates to four routes, effective Monday, July 29. Changes to routes 7 Fairview, 20 Orchard, 21 Cole/Glenwood, and 24 Ustick/Maple Grove will keep buses running on time, allow riders to get to destinations faster, and reduce wait times.
