Valley Regional Transit

Notice is hereby given that Valley Regional Transit (VRT), the regional public transportation authority for Ada County and Canyon County, is accepting public comments on its DRAFT fiscal year 2021 Program of Projects (POP). The public participation process is being used to satisfy Valley Regional Transit’s urbanized area grant program of projects public outreach requirements. This POP was prepared pursuant to Federal Transit Administration (FTA) guidelines.

VRT invites interested parties the opportunity to submit comments, orally or in writing, regarding the FY 2021 POP and the overall performance of VRT. The deadline for providing comment is 11:59 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2020.

A copy of the FY 2021 Program of Projects is available for review at the VRT offices at 700 NE 2ndStreet in Meridian, Idaho, 83642 on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. The Program of Projects can also be downloaded from this page. You also can request a print copy of the FY2021 POP by calling 208-258-2702 or email: mcarnopis@valleyregionaltransit.org.

There are several ways to learn more about the Program of Projects and to provide comment:

    • VRT has scheduled two virtual open houses on its Facebook page: facebook.com/valleyregionaltransit/. The Facebook Live open houses are scheduled to begin at noon and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2020. Comments will be collected.
