Starting on Monday the August 31st, Route 8 towards Discovery & Chinden will detour around construction. The following stops will be closed: AB427 Idaho & 15th, AB433 Main & 17th, AB435 Main & 23rd, AB436 Main & 27th. Temporary stops will be placed at 13th & Idaho. Riders can use Lyft code "MAINCONSTX" to get to or from the bus stop at Idaho & 13th.

The stop on Latah and Alpine towards MSS for route 4 is closed for construction and temp stop placed near side.
Inbound route 9 stop on State and 11th is closed, temporary stop placed at State and 12th near side.
Route 28 is on small detour at Frank Church High School; the bus will be taking right onto Salt Creek from Pro Tech, servicing the temp stop on Salt Creek, and then taking a right on Trabuco back to regular route.

FY 2023 Program of Projects
Notice is hereby given that Valley Regional Transit (VRT), the regional public transportation authority for Ada County and Canyon County, is accepting public comments on its FY 2023 Program of Projects (POP). The public participation process is being used to satisfy Valley Regional Transit’s urbanized area grant program of projects public outreach requirements. This POP was prepared pursuant to Federal Transit Administration (FTA) guidelines.
VRT invites interested parties the opportunity to submit comments, orally or in writing, regarding the FY 2023 POP and the overall performance of VRT. The deadline for providing comment is 11: 59 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2023.
A copy of the FY 2023 POP is available for review at the VRT offices at 700 NE 2nd Street in Meridian, Idaho, 83642 on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. You also can download the POP from the link at the bottom of this page.
