Starting on Monday the August 31st, Route 8 towards Discovery & Chinden will detour around construction. Route 40 - Starting Monday 8/31 - Leaving Downtown Boise to Caldwell will be on detour. Following stops will be closed: Idaho / 13th & Idaho / 27th
The stop on Latah and Alpine towards MSS is closed for construction and temp stop placed near side.
Route 28 is on small detour at Frank Church High School; the bus will be taking right onto Salt Creek from Pro Tech, servicing the temp stop on Salt Creek, and then taking a right on Trabuco back to regular route.
Route 9 OB stop at State and Ellen's Ferry closed. No temp stop placed.
Route 16: Stops on 1st & Idaho and 1st & Bannock will be closed. Please use the bus stop on Main & 1st.

Route 8 Chinden connects VRT’s Main Street Station in downtown Boise to Discovery & Chinden via Chinden Boulevard, providing service to points of interest such as:
Boise City Hall, Cherie Buckner Webb Park, Boise River Greenbelt, Crossroads Plaza, Expo Idaho & Boise Fairgrounds, Chinden DMV, Joplin Elementary School, West YMCA, Andrus Elementary School
Note: Route 8 only operates during select times in the morning and afternoon.
