Route 28 is on small detour at Frank Church High School; the bus will be taking right onto Salt Creek from Pro Tech, servicing the temp stop on Salt Creek, and then taking a right on Trabuco back to regular route.

Service Alert

Route 8 is on detour in downtown Boise due to construction.

The following stops are closed:

  • AB426 Idaho & 13th
  • AB427 Idaho & 15th
  • AB433 Main & 17th
  • AB435 Main & 23rd
  • AB436 Main & 27th

A temporary stop has been placed at Idaho & 13th.

Riders can use Lyft for a free ride to or from the bus stop at Idaho & 13th with code MAINCONSTX.

Route 8 Chinden connects VRT’s Main Street Station in downtown Boise to Discovery & Chinden via Chinden Boulevard, providing service to points of interest such as:

Boise City Hall, Cherie Buckner Webb Park, Boise River Greenbelt, Crossroads Plaza, Expo Idaho & Boise Fairgrounds, Chinden DMV, Joplin Elementary School, West YMCA, Andrus Elementary School

 

Note: Route 8 only operates during select times in the morning and afternoon.
