Title VI Policy

Statement and Notification of Protections

Valley Regional Transit is committed to ensuring that no individual or organization is excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of its program, activities or services, or subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin in accordance with Title VI or the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended.

Filing a Title VI Complaint

Any person who believes he or she has been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with Valley Regional Transit. Any such complaint must be in writing and filed within 180 days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence.
