Youth Ride Free: Connecting Boise’s Next Generation to Opportunity
First Thursday at Jack’s Urban Meeting Place (JUMP)
May 7th | 6:30–7:30 PM

Join Jason Rose, Chief Communications Officer, from Valley Regional Transit for an engaging conversation about the Youth Ride Free Summer Program (2026 & 2027)—a bold, community-powered initiative removing transportation barriers for young people across the Treasure Valley.

This talk will explore how the program came to life through strong local partnerships, what it means for youth access to jobs, education, and community spaces, and how free transit can create more independence and opportunity for the next generation.

Whether you’re a student, parent, educator, or simply curious about the future of mobility in Boise, this session offers a behind-the-scenes look at how public transit is helping shape a more connected and accessible city.

Come early to enjoy First Thursday activities at JUMP, grab a drink or bite, and be part of the conversation!

Bonus:
Learn more about the program and access resources through the Youth Ride Free Toolkit from Valley Regional Transit.
