The Outbound stop at Orchard & Greenbriar has been closed. No temp stop has been placed.
The stop on Latah and Alpine towards MSS is closed for construction and temp stop placed near side.
All Route 42 heading towards HDTC expect delays and detours Stops closed in Nampa Garrity and Jacob Allcott, Garrity and 39th, Garrity and N Venice 16th Ave N and 7th Emergency Road Repair
Route 45: Emergency Road Construction Expect delays up to 30 Min Service will be detoured
Route 28 is on small detour at Frank Church High School; the bus will be taking right onto Salt Creek from Pro Tech, servicing the temp stop on Salt Creek, and then taking a right on Trabuco back to regular route.
Outbound route 7 and 8 are on new detour. No stops will be missed.
Due to construction, Route 40 will be on detour starting Thursday August 8, 2026, until Monday October 26, 2026. Detour is, from Main, right on 27th, left on Pleasonton, right on White Water, U-Turn at round-a-bout, Right to Main to regular route.

Join Valley Regional Transit for a hands-on Learn to Ride event on Thursday, April 23, from 6–7 PM. This guided experience is designed to help you feel confident, comfortable, and ready to ride on your own.
We’ll meet at the Boise Towne Square Mall Park & Ride (just north of Dillard’s) at 6:00 PM, hop on Route 7 Fairview at 6:15 PM, and ride downtown to Main Street Station, arriving around 6:32 PM. There, you’ll enjoy a quick behind-the-scenes look at Boise’s underground transit hub before catching Route 29 Overland back to the mall, arriving just after 7:00 PM.
