Due to road construction, Route 16 will be on detour August 18 - September 25. A temporary stop will be placed on Garrison near the Skate Park
The stop on Latah and Alpine towards MSS is closed for construction and temp stop placed near side.
Route 28 is on small detour at Frank Church High School; the bus will be taking right onto Salt Creek from Pro Tech, servicing the temp stop on Salt Creek, and then taking a right on Trabuco back to regular route.
Outbound route 7 and 8 are on new detour. No stops will be missed.
Due to construction, Route 40 will be on detour starting Thursday August 8, 2026, until Monday October 26, 2026. Detour is, from Main, right on 27th, left on Pleasonton, right on White Water, U-Turn at round-a-bout, Right to Main to regular route.

On New Year’s Eve, VRT’s Route 7 Fairview will run enhanced late-night service, making it easy to get to and from your favorite downtown spots — including everyone’s favorite Spuddy Buddy — safely and conveniently.
To support New Year’s Eve festivities, Route 7 Fairview will operate with extra trips every 15 minutes from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

The Board is scheduled to meet four times a year – January, April, August, and October. The meetings are held at noon in the first-floor Board Room at the VRT administrative offices, 700 NE 2nd Street in Meridian. Posted agendas will contain a call-in link for remote participation.

Join Valley Regional Transit for a guided Learn to Ride event on Friday, February 27th, from 9:00–10:30 AM. We’ll meet at Happy Day Transit Center, ride Route 42 together into Downtown Nampa, explore the area, and then head back to Happy Day Transit Center—all with VRT staff along for the ride.
