Bike Rodeo + Community Bike Swap at Washington Elementary
Join us for a fun, active, and community-focused morning at Washington Elementary! This family-friendly event brings together a bike rodeo, bike swap, food trucks, and local organizations for a day all about safe riding, connection, and getting around our community.
Kids and families can build confidence on wheels by navigating a hands-on bike rodeo course designed to teach safe riding skills. Have a bike to trade or looking for one? The bike swap is a great opportunity to give bikes a second life and find the right fit for your rider.
🚲 Learn something new: Valley Regional Transit staff will be on-site to show how to bring your bike along on the bus—perfect for combining biking and transit for your next adventure. (Most bus bike racks accommodate bikes with 16” wheels and larger.)
🌭 Enjoy the vibe: Grab a bite from local food trucks and connect with community partners who will be tabling throughout the event.
This event is also a great opportunity for youth to learn about and sign up for free or reduced transit options, helping make it easier to get to school, parks, and summer activities.
