Route 28 is on small detour at Frank Church High School; the bus will be taking right onto Salt Creek from Pro Tech, servicing the temp stop on Salt Creek, and then taking a right on Trabuco back to regular route.
Outbound route 7 and 8 are on new detour. No stops will be missed.
Due to construction, Route 40 will be on detour starting Thursday August 8, 2026, until Monday October 26, 2026. Detour is, from Main, right on 27th, left on Pleasonton, right on White Water, U-Turn at round-a-bout, Right to Main to regular route.

On New Year’s Eve, VRT’s Route 7 Fairview will run enhanced late-night service, making it easy to get to and from your favorite downtown spots — including everyone’s favorite Spuddy Buddy — safely and conveniently.
To support New Year’s Eve festivities, Route 7 Fairview will operate with extra trips every 15 minutes from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
The Treeline is a free downtown bus connecting festival-goers to key Treefort stops throughout the event. Keep an eye out for the Band Bus, your moving music venue featuring live Treefort tunes as you roll from show to show.
Bus to the pitch with VRT’s ACB Matchday Ride. Routes 8 and 21 will take you to the Stadium at Expo Idaho from free Park + Rides across Boise for the first 7 home games, with stoppage time of one hour after games. Plus, ticketholders can ride any VRT bus on Match Day for free.
